What is AI Image Workflow?

AI Image Workflow is Nana Banana's professional image creation process with two steps: Step 1 - get a base image through background removal, text-to-image, or image-to-image generation; Step 2 - refine the base image with AI editing. This two-step workflow gives you precise control over the creation process for more professional results.

Are both steps required?

Step 1 is required - you must first get a base image through background removal, text-to-image, or image-to-image. Step 2 is optional. If you're satisfied with Step 1's result, you can download it directly. If you want to further optimize details, adjust style, or enhance effects, proceed to Step 2 for AI editing.

What's the difference between the three base image methods?

Remove Background: Upload an image and AI automatically removes the background, keeping the subject - ideal for transparent backgrounds. Text-to-Image: Generate brand new images from text descriptions - perfect for creating from scratch. Image-to-Image: Upload reference images and describe modifications - AI generates new images based on your references, great for variations of existing images.

What can the editing step do?

Step 2's AI editing is powerful and can: optimize image details and texture, adjust colors and lighting effects, modify specific areas, add or remove elements, change styles (e.g., realistic to cartoon), fix imperfections, enhance resolution, and more. You can upload additional reference images to help AI understand your requirements more precisely.

How many credits does each step cost?

Each step's credit cost varies by AI model and parameters. The system clearly shows the required credits before generation. Typically, background removal costs 1-3 credits, text-to-image and image-to-image cost 2-8 credits, and editing costs 3-10 credits.

Can I change my Step 1 choice midway?

Yes. If you've completed Step 1 but want to restart with a different method, click the 'Back to Step 1' button in Step 2 to return to Step 1 and choose background removal, text-to-image, or image-to-image again. Credits already spent won't be refunded, but you can always start fresh.

Does the workflow support batch processing?

Currently, the workflow processes one image at a time. However, in Step 1's image-to-image and Step 2's editing, you can upload multiple reference images (up to 9) - AI will consider all references when generating or optimizing. For batch processing multiple images, we recommend using our AI Image Generator page.

How long does it take to process an image?

Processing time depends on the selected AI model and image complexity. Typically, background removal takes 5-15 seconds, text-to-image and image-to-image take 10-30 seconds, and editing takes 15-40 seconds. We display real-time progress, and the image automatically appears in the preview panel when complete.
